Since graduating from Otago University in 1985, Sally has worked extensively in both the New Zealand and Australian Mineral Exploration Industries.  Beginning her career with helicopter based West Coast Coal exploration, she moved on to supervising the first Reverse Circulation drilling programme in New Zealand at Macraes Flat.  From there, she spent 13 years in the remote Australian outback running exploration teams and collating exploration data from “grass-roots” geochemistry through to resource delineation and 3D computer modelling.  Though specialising in Gold Exploration (and deep directional diamond drilling), she has experience in many other mineral commodities including Mineral Sands, volcanogenic Base Metals and kommatiite Nickel.

Sally has a BSc Honours and is part way through an MSc project in shallow Marine Seismic off West Coast of New Zealand. This has been deferred while she attempts to raise and educate a small boy.
