Drilling at Mt. Flora has started

Drilling has started at Duke Exploration’s Mt Flora prospect this week. The programme is off to a good start with copper and silver mineralisation intersected as predicted in the first 13 m. The Duke Directors, including Kenex Director Dr Greg Partington, visited the site earlier in the week and are positive about the results so far. Eastern Lachlan Orogen maps are out

Last week, Kenex Senior GIS Analyst Dr Arianne Ford presented the results of the Eastern Lachlan Orogen mineral potential mapping at the Mines & Wines "Discoveries in the Tasmanides" conference in Wagga Wagga for the first time. For more information and a link to the data package click here >

Drilling at Mt. Flora

Duke Exploration is preparing to drill at the Mt Flora prospect in their Bundarra tenement EPM 26499 located in North Queensland. Three diamond holes for a total of 545 m are planned to assess the copper-gold-silver mineralisation potential of the Mt Flora mine area. Read more about it here

New OGR Paper

Kenex, in collaboration with the Geological Survey of NSW, have just published a comprehensive review of how to produce statistically valid, geologically meaningful, and practically useful mineral potential maps that can be used for strategic land-use planning and exploration targeting. Thanks to GSNSW, this work has been published as open access, so the paper is freely available to all. Get your copy here and feel free to distribute widely.

Keynote speech at the Future Generations Conference in Vancouver

Our Senior GIS Analyst Arianne will be presenting a keynote talk on mineral potential mapping at the RFG 2018 on Thursday June 21st at 08:30 in the Mineral Prospectivity session in room 116. Arianne will be around all week if anyone wants to discuss how Kenex can assist in supporting your mineral exploration or land-use decision making.

Kenex presenting at Geological Survey of Finland seminar in May

Arianne will be presenting at the final seminar hosted by the Geological Survey of Finland for the Mineral Prospectivity Modeller project in Rovaniemi, Finland, 2-4 May. She will talk about Kenex’s involvement in the development of the new release of the ArcSDM toolbox. Arianne will also be available to chat about how Kenex uses ArcSDM for mineral exploration targeting and how we can help you with project development.

IDE Looking Positive for ASX Listing in 2018

Iron Duke Exploration Pty Ltd (IDE) was formed in 2017 around 5 tenements targeted and acquired by Kenex using our extensive targets database and proprietary monitoring methods. The tenements are in New South Wales and Queensland and include gold, copper and cobalt prospects; all critical metals in the electric vehicle revolution that is underway. Read More>

3D Hydrostratigraphic Modelling in the Wairarapa

In the second half of 2017 we have been working with the Greater Wellington Regional Council (GWRC) to develop 3D hydrostatigraphic models of the Wairarapa Middle and Lower Valley catchments using Leapfrog Geo software. The main purpose of the models is improving the planning of new boreholes and monitoring hole locations.
