Asia Pacific
The Asia-Pacific region is rich in mineral deposits due to a complex geologic history of tectonic plate interactions and associated magmatism. In this region Kenex has worked with companies such as Oriental Minerals Ltd and Solomon Gold Plc with projects in South Korea and the Solomon Islands. Our work for these companies included comprehensive digital data compilations, prospectivity modelling, 3D resource modelling, and field assistance. We are currently developing a set of predictive maps to identify exploration targets for porphyry Cu-Au and epithermal Au-Ag mineralisation in Papua New Guinea and we are also investigating opportunities for mineral exploration projects in the Philippines.
