New Zealand
Kenex has long been associated with geological services in New Zealand and
the company was first started in Wellington back in 2003. We currently
have projects throughout the country which include predictive modelling, 3D
modelling, permit management & monitoring, field support, data compilations, as
well as exploration program management and advice. Kenex provides these
services to explorers in New Zealand's mineral, coal and petroleum industries
throughout much of the country. We are an associate member of the New
Zealand Minerals Industry Association
(NZMIA) and also have
close ties with staff at GNS Science and other research institutes &
universities. Below are some of the activities we're involved with throughout
New Zealand:
Northland
- Predictive modelling for epithermal gold mineralisation
- Ongoing permit monitoring throughout the region
- Field support for sampling programs
Coromandel
- Predictive modelling for epithermal gold mineralisation

- Field support for sampling and mapping programs
- Permit management and monitoring
- Predictive modelling for granite intrusion associated mineralisation
- Permit monitoring and permit management
- Field support and program planning
- 3D modelling of mineral resource potential
- Regional predictive modelling for mesothermal gold mineralisation in 2004 and again in 2006 over key areas with more detailed datasets for gold and tungsten
- Permit monitoring that has lead to the capture of valuable ground for exploration in the region
- Exploration program planning and industry advice for newcomers to the industry
- 3D modelling of coal resource potential
- Evaluation of alluvial gold projects
- Permit monitoring and permit management
- Data compilation and review
- Predictive modelling for porphyry and mafic PGE Ni-Cu mineralisation
