Queensland, Australia
Kenex has had significant involvement in Queensland mineral exploration through its links with D'Aguilar Gold Ltd and Auzex Resources Ltd. Both companies have utilized Kenex prospectivity models as a way of focusing their exploration strategy. As a result, Daguilar Gold has identified approximately 50% of its ground that could be relinquished, while at the same time prioritising new targets and exploration methods for future follow up work. Kenex prospectivity modelling has allowed Auzex Resources to successfully identify gold, copper, molybdenum and tin prospects in previously unexplored regions of North Queensland. Of these, Runningbrook and West Tinaroo (see Auzex website) have shown particular promise, and drilling at these sites has begun in July 2007.

Kenex has also provided Auzex Resources with digital compilations of historic soil, stream, drill hole and rock chip geochemical sampling, allowing prospective areas to be targeted more efficiently. Furthermore, Kenex geologist Andrew has assisted with regional and prospect scale mapping at several prospects.
