Joint Venture or Investment Opportunities
Kenex has clients and contacts in many countries covering many commodities. Where there are projects that we consider worthy of investment we are happy to facilitate access to relevant data and information.
1. Kingsgate Mo-Bi- Qtz resource in New England, NSW, Australia
Exploration and metallurgical test work to date as well as a feasibility study (completed December 2008) has demonstrated that the Kingsgate area has the potential to support a 250,000 tonnes per year mining operation for at least 5 years to annually produce 800 tonnes of Ammonium Molybdate (400 tonnes of Molybdenum metal - average mining grade 0.18% Mo and 89.5% metal recovery), 260 tonnes of Bismuth metal (average mining grade 0.16% and 65% metal recovery) and 100,000 tonnes of high purity silica (>99.9% SiO2, Iron content <10ppm).

RESOURCES
Of 107 greisens mapped and sampled on the surface, 45 greisen bodies average greater than 0.10% Sn and estimated tonnage per vertical metre is about 250,000 tonnes per vertical metre at 0.18% using a SG of 2.55. Given many of the greisens form 20-30m hills and drilling intersected mineralisation to a depth of 135m it is assumed that the greisens can be mined to a depth of 150m. This gives a potential resource for the project of approximately 40 million tonnes at an average grade of about 0.2% Sn, which is a typical average grade for tin greisen deposits.
Initial metallurgical test work, performed on diamond drill core comprising fresh greisen mineralisation, returned a combined tin recovery from gravity and flotation of 71%. This result is considered highly encouraging because significant improvements are likely to be made with modification to grinding and flotation circuit parameters. Mineralogical studies indicate the cassiterite is generally of fine grained (<100µm), free from sulphide and contains only trace stannite (an uneconomic tin mineral. The greisen mineralisation is also anomalous in silver, indium and gallium associated with recoverable zinc and copper sulphides.
EXPLORATION POTENTIAL
Surface sampling and drilling suggest the project could contain 40 million tonnes of tin mineralisation in greisen bodies exposed on the surface. Assuming similar mineralisation exists at depth and in prospects not mapped or sampled the company believes the Khartoum project has the potential to host 80-120 million tonnes, averaging 0.2% - 0.3% Sn.
Follow-up prospecting and mapping needs to continue in the far north of the project area in the vicinity of Emuford and in the far northeast, northwest of the Rose of Tralee-Omeo line, and the Excelsior area. The southwest corner of the tenement including former workings near California Creek remains to be prospected. Drilling is also required to confirm the surface sampling aiming to intersect enough mineralisation to allow a JORC compliant inferred resource to be calculated over the 44 greisens defined by mapping and channel sampling. The initial phase of drilling will allow one or two holes to be drilled into the highest ranked greisens to provide an overall understanding of the projects potential and confirm surface channel sampling results. The next phase of drilling is planned to focus on defining JORC compliant resources for the larger best grade greisen bodies.
3. VMS Copper / Gold Projects in Oman
Oman,
located adjacent UAE and within a one hour drive of the fasting growing Dubai,
has recently opened up exploration with the granting of nine exploration
tenements in the well known, under explored, Semail Ophiolite belt which has a
high potential for VMS copper-gold mineralization. Recent deposits mined and
explored are, Lasail, Aarja, Bayda, Hayl-As-Safil current deposits mined are
Shinas, Hatta, with new deposits being developed Ghuzayn, Manoos and Rakah.
Kenex has been engaged to model a number of the tenement blocks for different clients. And can provide Investment opportunities for farm-in or joint venture funding to develop and explore in several places.
